Here's my dilema. My steering seemed to be loose so we did a crank and 1/2 on steering box adjustment which seemed to help for about 6 months and now it seems to wonder again. But in conjunction to that it seems that when at "idle" it is hard to steer (ie Walmart parking lot going back and forth to park the big rig in yugo spot) but rev it up and you can steer with one finger. Are the 2 related and is there something that I can check, do, adjust? Is a new steering box in order? Thanks
Steering box for the loose steering I would say. Not sure on the difficult turning. I had a 2000 Superduty PSD that had similar problems with trying to turn the wheel at little or no speed, and was told that is normal. I, too, am in the market for a new sterring gear.
