93 explorer 4.0 help

93 explorer 4.0 help
well we pulled the old 4.0 out cuz it was blown....the explorer is a 93. We went to the local junk yard and got another 4.0 out of a 94. after we got it all in and bolted up we have all the wires hooked up but theres a wire in the back of the motor we cant seem to figure out. Any ideas what this is for? The explorer starts up and all and we dont have that plugged in so i dont know if its important. Also does anyone know where i can find a diagram for vaccum lines? if there even is one lol...thanks

i read up somewhere else it says that its the camshaft position sensor? but my old motor didnt have this on it and i have nowhere to plug it in...we started the explorer 2 days ago without that CPS being plugged in and it idle fine so if this is it does it really need to be connected
