I bought my 2004 last June with 35,000 miles on the clock, and I just passed 60,000. A trip out to Halifax last summer combined with a lot of long range contracting work helps rack up the mileage pretty quickly. Only problem I've had was with the drivers side actuator, all in all I love my truck.
Bought it new November 04 when the 05's were on the lot, currently has 102,000 miles.
Only was towed home once and that was recent due to the FPDM problem . Plan on keeping it for at least another 5 years.
Bought my 05 last summer with 110000 on it. I love this truck, how it rides and drives. So far I've had to replace all the tires and front pads and calipers. I was buying a used truck so I was prepared to spend a little on it. I'm now up to 117000. Thinking I better pull the spark plugs real soon.. On a bad note I found that my cab corner is starting to rust out so I'm kind of disappointing in that! I'm going to try and get that fixed this summer, I can't stand rust on body panels.
My 07, purchased in Oct 06, now has 86K on it. So far it's holding up well, but the trans is starting to shift funny. Time for a fluid change to see if that helps.
Shipped across to Uk from Miami in February 2005, since that time I have covered 160,000 miles around 100,000 with a 2ton trailer on the hitch, the fuel usage was crippling so had a LPG conversion in the UK around $4000.
As the Propane is half the petrol price I have soon got the conversion cost back, guess I have used 12,000gallons of fuel in that time. Frightening thought, I have left a big hole in the core of the earth having that much sucked out just for me
Was planning to get a new unit this year but the exchange rate with the US dollar is at its lowest for 10 years so will have to run it onto 200,000
'05 Recab bought May '05 w/ 4.3miles (with the plastic still on the hood), now is turning over 111,854miles.
Also, with my new job being a bit futher than my old one... I'm putting right over 100miles (134miles) every day and a half.... thats around 2948miles each month (it would be more between Sept. to late Dec.)
06 bought last NOV with 44K. Now has 50K. Had to replace the IWE actuators this month, otherwise fine. Hoping to get at least 200K out of it as long as another idiot on their cellphone doesn't run into me last with my previous truck.
I bought my 06 in May of 08 it had 16,000 on it and today it has 56,000. I am not sure how much longer i can take all the squeaking and popping i am getting from my supercab doors though when i hit a bump. Oh and the speakers are no good, when i have the cruise set on the highway and i turn the signal on to change lanes the cruise cuts out, lol cant figure that one out. The tempreature controls is either HOT or COLD no in between, brake pedal pops wheni go to step on the brakes thats irritating as all hell, back window squeaks when ihit bumps, i think thats about it,lol. But other than that its been ok.
Bought my '05 Lariat Supercrew in 2007 with 110,000 miles. Changed the plugs (no issues following the procedure carefully, I might add!) and rear tires. Replaced the oil pan gasket that was leaking. Opened up the rear end and cleaned/inspected it and replaced the fluids. Oh - and added a Pioneer stereo and front speakers. Fantastic truck. Now has 126,000 miles.
2006 FX4 bought in Oct of '06. I now have about 51,000 on it with very few problems. Love my truck, seing other f-150s getting 100+ to 200k miles is encouraging to me. I want to keep my truck as long as I can!
