signal trouble help

i have a 79 f150 4x4 the signal lights won't blink. Flashers work brake lights work park lights work but the blinkers won't. I have replaced the switch in the column still the same. I have also cleaned every ground front to back what else can i try?

So you say the signal lights up front and back but no flash ? If so,

Did you check the flasher ?

changed it out with a new one.

You know there are 2 of them ? one for 4 ways, and 1 for signal ?

no actually i didn't know that where is the other one located? Could the new one i bought be bad also?

There both very close together around the fuse box, one is just a little higher. Find the one you replaced and turn your 4 way flashers on and remove it to see if the flashers stop. They are both the same type.
