I guess I never put it in here so here it is. And it has the regular xlt interior which I'm completely happy with because the centurion interiors are so dated.
That's the dead give away when I first saw this truck that it was a f150. I need a 4" lift just to get it stock height of a crew cab f250 lol!!! I think I might just lift it. It really looked low with the stock bumpers but these other bumpers I made give it a little more height front and back.

Weird too, mine was never that low. I think the PO put heavier springs on the rear, then I did F250 coils on the front. Clears 285/70/17 with no issues.
I'm not sure yet all I know is I will straight axle swap it of some sort. Is the 78/79 Dana 44 a straight axle? I thought these trucks came with a Dana 44 and its that ifs garbage? I've also thought about doing super duty axles.

78/79 D44 is straight axle. While the IFS isn't necessarily bad, lifting it and putting larger heavier tires on will make the shortcomings of the IFS blatantly apparent.
Speaking of StuperDoody axles, I just finished blasting and painting mine over the weekend!

That first picture has 31's and it cleared just fine with the stock bumper I think it would easily clear 32's with the stock bumper and how it sat. I now could easily clear 33's with the new bumper.

Yessir. The next phase of my build was going to be axles/gears/driveline/lift. I was planning on regearing to 4.11 from 3.55, rebuilding the 8.8 and D44, and installing a 4" lift.
Once I added up the costs to do all of that, I realized it'd cost me just about the same (or possibly a little less) to swap in '05-up SD axles.
I scored a set of '06 3.73 axles, coil buckets, and radius arm brackets for $800. Both axles were complete with brakes, and the front axle came with all steering components, the track bar, and PS gear. The 3.73 is a good compromise of 3.55 and 4.11 I think. The largest tire this truck will ever see is a 285.
I'm nowhere near ready to install them, though. I need to plate the rear section of the frame like Brad did to his CCSB, then POR the whole frame.
Awesome can't wait to sew how yours comes out! I did some calculations and figured my money would be better spent towards super duty axles as well. If I do mine I want to run 08 20's on them. That's why I haven't done anything to the suspension because it just seems like a waste of money considering what you can get for the same amount of money.

I think I'm going to stick with 17s on mine. We occasionally take it on the beach, and that extra sidewall height really helps when airing the tires down. I think the 20s will look badass though!
