Has anyone installed the whiplash lift kit on an expedition. I must say it's awesome. I was on the website the other day. it's about a $1000 more than a 4 to 6 inch lift. Is it worth the extra money?. Is the kit reliable? I wish I didn't get the extened warranty on my expedition I could have put the 1800.00 towards the whiplash kit. Any info on the kit would be appreciated. Thanks Guys..........
Yeah, that pic looks nice with the 10" kit and 3" body lift sitting on 38" TSLs. I have heard good things and bad things about the whiplash kits. But, I have never heard from anyone or seen one on the expedition.
My only thing with that is that those 38" TSLs are a little big for that 1/2 ton drivetrain on the expedition.
all those whiplash/full throttle kits i.e extreme ifs lifts, are simply crap and dangerous. Stuff bends/breaks....if you want more than 6 or so. you might as well SAS it
from what ive seen of them, and heard from others, they aint all that reliable period, due to the fact everything is so tall and stressed.. a few potholes, hard street use can bend/break stuff
