F250 5lug conversion
Hello All,first post newbie.
I recently rescued a beatin 68 f250 from a farm near me,the truck a=has never been registered on the road always for farm use.its dented and sun baked but totally rust free.
What I would like to do is convert to 5lug 1/2 ton type susp. remove the 360 install a 351w i have and an aod and drive this daily.
I have an 84 e100 van with a rebuilt susp. and the afformentioned 351.Is there any chance the front suspension would swap over?
I figure with small block and aod with the vans 9" and 300 gears i could prob. get close to 20 on the road?What yall think?Thanks again and nice to meet everyone

That's a pretty big step backwards for that truck. The front stuff won't fit, since the steering is in front of the axle on the van, and behind the axle on the truck. The rear is questionable, it may be too wide.
You can do the disk brake conversion and use 1/2ton beams instead of the 3/4ton, but make sure you grab the springs and all the steering linkage as well since it will be different.

Engine perches are available to put the 351w into that truck, not sure on setting up AOD linkage though.
