a/c question help please
hey guys i have a f350 1993 idi and has no a/c. i have the radiator
for installing a/c. i want to install a/c on my truck. im trying to find
a parts truck to get all brackets and blower assembly. my question
is/ what year truck a/c will work on my 93. does it have to be a
diesel. thanx for any help guys

Probably need to look for a 93, maybe 94. These were the only years with serpentine belts on an IDI. The compressor will be the same for either serpentine setup (gas or diesel) but you will probably need IDI specific hoses.
If your truck didn't come with A/C, you will probably need the firewall heater box to accomodate the evaporator. I've never seen a '92-97 without A/C, but the earlier models are this way.
