I have a 1997 Ford F350 with a 7.3 diesel. the motor cranks fine but will not start. we put a Snap On computer on it which read no codes. Fuel injector pressure was correct. we filled auxiliary oil pump with 1/2 quarts of oil. found oil present in fuel filter resevoir. motor was four quarts low on oil. has never used oil before. anybody have any ideas on how to fix this problem?

 

How high does your ICP get while cranking? Sounds like it's time for new injector o-rings.

 

What Chris said... Oil in the fuel system is from the high pressure oil getting around the O-rings on the injectors.

 

re-seal the injectors. not a hard job. lots of info here about the job. you only need basic tools.

 

Make sure you use OEM Injector O-rings...
