Checked it out this morning will pick it up in a week or two. It will need some TLC but it roomy, has a stove, fridge , furnance, hotwater heater, bathroom, shower and ....it's a Ford.

It should look good on the '77.
Frank
And all I could think of was the Beverly Hillbillies, it appears they have a relative in Ontario named Frank, I just bet your first trip will be to the "C"ment Pond
Come and listen to a story bout a man named Jed...
I'm more than OK with the Uncle Jed lifestyle, in fact I think I'll start calling you Jethro,... now if we could only find some of Grannys tonic to put in the tank.... It's big and heavy but i have no worries about the '77 F250 being able to handle it. I looked at aluminum sided types in the same price range and they usually leaked , and didn't seem to have a lot of structural integrity. I wanted something to the match the era of the truck so this fit the bill. The vin plate states that it was built exclusivly for Ford as does the manual so I thought that was rather cool.I considered picking the deisel rig it was on for a few sheckles more but too much project too little space/time.y'all come back now, y'hear..Frank

If you haven't checked out what this size and style of truck camper costs now for a new one, you should cause you will surely think you struck OIL. LOL.
All kidding aside I am super jealous, I don't know what the interior condition(You'll have to post some pictures) is like but the outside looks mint.
And at 2900lbs your truck won't even know it's back there.
Well gosh darn you got yourself a JED SLED. When's Ellie May and her chimp going swimming in the cement pond ?????
What's granny got cooking on the stove some gopher grits.
Let me know how the door poppers work and how far are you going to lower it.
Picked it up yesterday.....can't say i didn't notice the extra weight, it was a windy day too so it took some getting used to. Power was not a problem, hills were no big deal, just a little sway to get used to.
The pictures don't do justice to how huge this thing is, I did a rough clearance measurement and its around 11 ft tall sitting on the truck.
I'm having trouble loading pics but got some in before things ground to a halt , check my '77 F250 gallery.
It sure gets you attention coming down the road,..kinda like Jed Clampet meets Capt. Kirk
I even got a nice set of 16.5 x8 - 8lug aluminum wheels in the deal.
Now for the TLC and fine tuning the fit. I may consider a rear sway bar too.
Did I mention Gas mileage? Your right, I didn't , lets not.
The black stripe used to be wood grain that some PO painted over. The Ford logo looks added as well.
If the weather holds, I'll get out my 8 foot step ladder and give it a good wash, sort out the wiring, clean up the inside. I need a tail lite lens, that should be fun to try and come up with. Likely have to make one.
