I would like to see the video of the ford pulling him out. How embarrassing that must have been.

The embarassment was the dude admitted he left it in drive as he got out......said he does it all the time; was surprised the truck rolled back.

I saw that thread. Pure comedy. Leave 4X2 truck in drive with rear wheels close to water and trailer in the water where there is a current. Smart.

He couldn't figure out why once he got back in that he couldn't pull out, until he realized his rear end was buoyant. Perhaps next time he'll pony up for a 4X4.

I hope thats not the ford driver hooking the tow rope. I would of helped the guy with a tow, but he would be the one in the water.

A Toyota Tundra Crew Max, 5.7L V8 4X2. It was a pretty nice truck (although I am not quite sure why anyone would buy a 4X2 truck anywhere in North America).

I guess the floating cooler might help explain what happened.

Must have been at least 2 wine coolers in there....

I saw a '55 Chevy do the same thing back in the late 60's at Santee Cooper. The guy had 1 to many. This could have made America's funniest home videos, but I felt soory for the man. They called a wrecker to get him out.
