Good deal. About what I paid for mine, after I rebuilt it myself...

Shouldn't the van turbo should be 1:15 AR?

It is. He's probably talking about the compressor housing being 1.0 A/R.

Joe, how laggy was yours with stock sticks but with a chip.

Not too bad. Worth it, definitely. You'll hate it on a stock tune, though... Lag was like 20 minutes.

Well, I tow about 3 days a week, and start out in stock until warmed up. First 7-10 miles is up and down hills. I was curious how bad it would be. I live on a lake access road, and to go town, I have to pull out onto the highway at the BOTTOM of the hill and its a pretty busy road. Half the time the cars are 500 yds away just getting on the bridge, and catch me by the time I crest the hill. I was wondering if it'd be even worse with the van turbo.

Well, I think it's unnecessary to start in stock. I can't start in anything even close to stock anymore, and in fact, I run my extreme tune 95% of the time. I just drive nicely until it's warm. But that's up to you. With tunes, it was fine, and you'll see that it's nearly impossible to get EGTs over 1300 deg with that turbo on stock injectors. I'd say that if you're planning on injectors, get the van turbo. If not, get a 1.0 exh housing. You'd probably be better off, hearing what you do with your truck.

Let me say this... I think it's fine as long as you have more fuel for it. It was just okay on stock injectors (Brandon is still running/towing on his with stock sticks), but it really comes alive with a little more fueling...

I bought it. Been looking for a Van Turbo and since its rebuilt already and has a 3 month warranty I didn't want to pass on it. After Bing Cashback and eBay Bucks came out to $355 shipped. After I won the turbo I ordered the van outlet adapter from Clay. Hope to have everything by next weekend so I can install it Saturday. Thanks for the find crum71, reps to you.

Also, I just replaced my turbo orings 3 or 4 months ago. Do I need to change them again when I install the new turbo?

Your O-rings should be okay. I would re-use 'em...
