Heater Quit (Need Help)
I had to replace the heater control panel that is vacuum operated for the different position on the heater panel. It only worked on the defrost position and all 4 fan speeds worked as it is an AC equipped truck. The panel controls are functioning now but I have no power the fan.I have power to both sides at the heater/AC fuse under the dash. It has the original switch still intact that worked fine. Is there a separate fuse or fusible link that I need to check for elsewhere. To check the fan function for power is it only accessible by removing the heat/AC cover on the passenger side under the dash and placing a jumper accross the power and ground wire. Thanks for any advice in advance.

Do you have power at the switch? If so, you could just make a short jumper wire and go between the terminals of the plug for the switch. Double check the resister that is located on the ducting under the dash. But, it's not uncommon to have something work before and not after. Oh, it could also be the blower motor relay which is mounted under the dash.
