Heres some pics of my truck

Thanks guys, I like the truck a lot. It's a 94 that my dad bought in 95 as his dream truck. I eventually learned how to drive in this thing, then my dad passed 6 years ago. So this truck has a lot of sentimental value with me. I'll put some more pics up, but it won't let me up load anymore for some reason.
The truck has a flowmaster exhaust, k&N filter, and last month a 4 inch lift with 33's and 17 inch wheels. A year and a half ago I bought a bed from a 95 that I had repainted(My factory bed was starting to rust on the wheel wells) and put a spray on bed liner in it. It has 150,000 miles on it right now.

great looking truck... I hope some day I will have the $$$ to finish off one of mine so it looks as good as yours! if you have problems attaching photos get a photobucket.com account and load all your photos there. then cut and paste the img code from photo bucket to the FTE forum. they will show up as links until you hit "submit reply" button. They will show up as pics and not links in the post you make...

Thanks for the compliments guys. It's a 5.0 with a auto, I'm not sure about what gearing it has or the diff. Why should I ditch the K&N?
Heres some more pics.
Here it is before the 4" lift and wheels and tires.
Here is a picture of my other car. It's not a truck, but it's still a Ford.
And my old Stang that was totaled a couple of years ago.

The truck looks great before the lift too. I almost like it better that way. My old truck was that color.
If you want to know what gears it has, look at the tag on the rear axle or the door sticker. The rear end should be an 8.8. I bet its 3.55 LS. To get some of your power back since your running larger tires, I would recommend going to 4.10 or so gears. That will compensate for the larger tires.
To answer your question about the KN, the oiled filters can contaminate electronic sensors like the mass air sensor etc. An OE style paper filter is better in most cases. The KN will flow a little more when its new, but as soon as it gets dirty it doesnt. It also does not keep as much dirt out.
A good cheap mod is to run the I6/460 lower tube from the air box to the radiator support. It works better than the 5.0/5.8 tube.
Nice Mustangs by the way. Thats too bad about the accident. Was the shaker hood functional on it, like the Mach 1?

Yeah, I've heard that about oil filters. I actually just cleaned my mass air flow sensor last weekend because of that reason. I just took the intake tube out so it sucks it straight into the air box, I noticed it's a little louder, but I don't know if that helps for power or makes it worse?
I liked it the way it looked stock to, it was nice when it only had 31's, it rode a lot better and had more power. I have looked at my gears before, but I've forgotten what it has, I'll look again.
The hood and shaker were off of a 03-04 Mach 1. It was pretty cool, when you'd punch it, it would shake with the motor. It was functional to. I couldn't really tell a difference power wise, but I think it helped a little at highway speeds though.
Here's a picture of the blue car after it was wrecked. The car was parked on the side of the road and some guy wasn't paying attention and hit it in a late 80's GMC van. He flipped on his side and my car was pushed 25 feet where I had parked it. No one was hurt, but I really miss the car.
