I have never had trouble with heat from headers on trucks, seems like the extra room helps the heat to dissipate. On Mustangs and such, they need the wrap to keep the heat down.
I have to have a new Y-pipe fabbed up, so they will be painted WEEKS before they ever get installed.
Evening guys, been a long week but it's finally my weekend... well the one day of it I get. I did get off work early today though so I started the HID installation. Will be posting progress, pics and assessment in the pre power stroke forum tomorrow. It's going to be a long but fun day tomorrow.
HID's to finish installing, then fuel line return kit, change oil and install new dipstick tube assembly and hopefully find time to rotate my tires. Oh yea and find out why fog lights stopped working Monday and fix annoying burned out bulb in dash.
