another NP 205
I'm building a 75 f250
a built 400 mod. np 435 ,divorced NP 205 ,dana 44,and dana 60
Ok now I plan to put another divorced 205 in between the trans,and t-case.........
I'll still run the driveshafts from the rear t-case,just using the front t-case for a multipler..........have to rotate it up to clear the front driveshaft ........ but I'm sure it will work.......
The body has been removed , Isn't going to be a problem locating the t-case in the frame or making a cross member........
the linkage however is another story.....but I'll burn that bridge when I come to it..............
Now what is a good price for a divorced NP 205 ?
I know where Theres a salvage yard not far from here that closed its doors about a year ago.........a little hole in the wall......up a hollow
mainly ford 4 wheel drives...70s & 80s models.. not to many people knew about it, so theres still parts to be had......
probably have to run a bodylift to clear the front t-case or cut a hole in the floor for it...........just another bridge to torch......
If any of you have done this,and know what problems I'll run in to ..........please let me know............

another NP 205
why not just find an np-203 and use the reduction box, then find a married 205/435 to bolt it to with the adapter kit. this will give ya close to the same driveline lenghts you have now, and 2:1 or 4:1 ratios. Or you could hold out a few months longer for the 3:1 gearset for the 205
