Anyone know of any way to put a tailgate step on 07 F-150? The parts guy (not too bright) at the local dealership said it wasn't an option, but I was wondering if thr 08's have the option and if it is possible to upgrade.

I use my truck for hauling my dirt bike and to have a solid step in the tailgate for loading is huge.

If it's possible, I think I might be able to swap out some of the interior bed door parts. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Not sure but wasnt the tailgate step introduced in the new 09 and up trucks. If so I dont think there would be parts avaliable for are trucks. Could be wrong though

Cabelas has has two after market tailgate steps.

I believe you would have to replace the tailgate, as the step is interior of the tailgate.. You will have to get an aftermarket one as shown above I would think!
