Not sure I'd paint the grill or have a black bumper without having a black truck. The wheels look good - an Excursion near me has these on a black EB and I really like them:
Good idea! The only thing that looks a little off to me is that the front would have a black bumper but the rest of the trim on the lower is brown. I think if the lower trim was black to match the bumper that would look super awesome. That said, with it being a winch bumper in its future life, it would likely look great (especially with the wheels done too). What are you thinking of going with for a winch bumper?

Ditto. The only chrome I have on my truck is the badging and the trim and a small bit on the wheels. Thinking of debadging the rear and using plastidip on all the trim.
If you were to make the cladding, running boards, and the rear bumper black as well, that could make an attractive combination. Red over black; it would be unique.
i will be building the winch bumper from scratch, and yes them harley lights will be Nice forsure.. i dont now about the lower cladding, maybe i will make it black, I could also replace the running boards with home made steel nerfbars that mimic them some to keep the lights in them but would be allot stonger for a side impact.
I want to keep the truck the red it is for a while, then later might go with a dark gunmetal grey that is almost black.
wow that is nice and is somewhat the look im trying to achieve. i just hate chrome with a passion, i used to love it when i was in my early 20's now that im approaching 40 i dont seem to like it anymore.. will probably black out the emblems also.
