Normal radiator level?

My radiator seems to like to be a couple inches low. If I fill it up and add 2-3 inches in the overflow reservoir it will use all the antifreeze in the overflow tank and be a few inches low in the radiator after a few weeks of driving say 400-500 miles. After driving the truck for 20 min the radiator will still have pressure an hour or more after I shut it off. Not sure how many PSI is still in the system after it has cooled off but there is a noticeable amount of air pressure when you remove the radiator cap. I have not ever found any leaks.
I have owned the truck for 10 years and it has been a normal thing to add antifreeze to the radiator. It just that currently it is my daily driver so I just have to pay attention to it more often.

I am considering adding some Alumaseal Powered Radiator Stop Leak.

Any thoughts??

The Aluma Powder is about the only "mouse milk" item I have ever found that actually works as long as the leak is light-moderate.

You might do a pressure check on the cooling system to see if you are getting any leak-down. IIRC, it should hold about 13#...that is the rating of the pressure cap I use anyway. Before the days of catch tanks, I think 1" below the filler neck when cold was considered full.
