head gasket replacement

head gasket replacement
so I am looking at the following problem
-coolant is missing
-water in exhaust
(no over heating, no water in oil, no loss of power or engine issues)
I going to try and replace head gasket I found the kit for
Fel-Pro - Head Gasket Set
what else do I need to do this job? I have a chilton guide, I have heard that I want to replace the head bolts but cant find them on autozone etc by searching "head bolts"
what are other things I will need or tips you can give me to replace?
like a tip from searching the forums was to put RTV on the corners of the head NOT gasket sealant.
any more tips for a new mechanic?

400 in a 4x4
good Q I will pull the plugs to see if any of them show signs of water damage!
I dont have a pressure testing tool or anyone that I know of right now that has one I can use.
