happened when i was backing in at work. I had the wheels cut to the right about half way and when baking up i felt a slight vibration. it wasnt constant...it would virbrate like three times and and stop and start again after baking another 5 feet or so. dont hear anything...just feel it
i thought i felt this a couple months ago while driving slowly forward waiting to pull out in to traffic...again the wheels were cut to the right. at the time i just passed it off as bumps in the road.
I would love to give you a bunch of answers, but I am hoping to learn the when so that I can help. Is this a full blown vibration, or a thump?
it's kinda like something is rubbing and it feels like a vibration...rub,rub,rub then it stops for like a full wheel rotation and rub,rub rub, again. thats why i was thinking something with brakes for wheel bearing? hopefully not involving the diff or anything more serious.
i didnt do it this morning???? but i was running late and in a hurry.
To me it sounds like the carrier bearing in the drive shaft cause mine does the same thing but i havent got the time to fix it so i just drive around the vibration. I would crawl under the truck and look at the bearing and grab the drive shaft at the bearing and see it you can wiggle it up and down. If you can then i would replace it.
