you know if i wanted to keep it legal even with visuals i could fab it up to keep the air system running but plug it so it isnt blowing into the aftermarket cat or just let it go
I have been scouring the forum looking for an answer but cant seem to find one. I have a 6inch lift on my 150, and from my readings, i have seen many people state that they run into fitment issues with LT headers...
A TTB lift won't interfere with longtubes but if you install a SAS you will have problems with the front driveshaft because it's more inboard on the solid axle.
Hmmm.... Interesting. I have been toying with the idea of doing a SAS for some time now. I helped a buddy done one on his GMC1500 and got the itch. I know I can get all the parts to do one cheap from a buddy of mine.
I just do not want to waste the money for LTs now and then a year down the line do the conversion and have to rework the exhaust again.
I know I asked you this already, and this question has been beaten to death on this forum, but how noticeable will the LTs be from shorties?
