I have been shopping around looking for ball joints, wheel bearings, and rotors/pads. Got price differenced on upper and lower balljoints from Ford but the price difference is huge, 90 dollars difference and thats employee price. What I need is for a 1990 F250 4x4 manual hubs, D44 TTB.
Upperballjoints:
Lower Balljoints:
Rotors/pads:
All wheel bearings and races:
Basically rebuilding the whole dang thing. Any input would be great as I am planning to do this on April 10. Yes I work at Ford. They are not the best price.
i dont have part numbers for ya, but why dont you check with napa? i work at a local shop and that is where we order all of our parts for and the prices that we get with our discount is good, and they give me the same discount for stuff that i purchase off to the side.
Lots of people will probably say to go with Moog parts for your uppers and lowers.
I use autozone, the gold stuff. Ford is overpriced, personally. Ive never had a problem. I did upper and lower ball joints and tie rods (complete) for like 140 bucks. Everything is still tight.
Rotors are about 40 bucks a piece I believe (races included in them) and I go ahead and spend another 10 bucks for bearings. I prefer replacing it all if im gonna have it apart. Pads are probably another 20 at most.
Just my input. Everyone has their own preferences.
