My buddy Mike is coming over Sunday and we hope to have the frontend back on and start it up this weekend. I still have to shorten up the driveline before I can drive it tho..............

Sometime in the past a previous owner of my shortbed F100 cut the front of the bed and molded in the cutouts for stacks, so I'm going to install a set of chrome stacks with turnouts. With the split headers and the new manifold and Holley it should sound sweet!

With the way the headers are split, and the firing order the way it is, the sound should come out of the stacks in alternate pulse's......

Awesome. I had 5" Chrome Bullhaulers on my F350 a while back, but didn't like how much space they took up in the bed. They sounded awesome though!

These are only 2-1/2" in diameter, and the bed is notched in front so they don't take up any bed space.......

My 53 Panel project has 3 1/2" chrome sidepipes that will go alongside the runningboards, but that's for a different thread...

Mike and I had a good day today. We got the front clip installed and most of the finish work done on the shortbed, and took his 351C out of my hot tank, washed out and ready for honing. Time to call it quits for the day.......

Looks good. I've always liked the room in a ford engine compartment. Has stirred the imagination many times ( a 600 inch "V" 12 or 2 300s side by side) MORE POWER!!!

I always wanted to build a turbo 300-6. Not sure why, just always have. I'm still deciding what engine I want to use for my future off-road toy. I want to build a bronco with a C6/NP205 combo, just don't know if I want to use a 300-6 or a Cummins 4BT.

It runs! After finding a lot more things to do, I finally got it running today. Runs great, sounds great, purrrs like a kitten!

This week I'll take the bed off and install the chrome stacks and Cherry Bombs, and finish up the new brakes and brake lines, then paint the body in primer and add the new tires.......I might get the thing on the road before Christmas.....
