overdrive install questions
I picked up a T85N 3 speed overdrive tranny out of a 67 F100 352 3 speed. I got everything wiring, cable, solinoids, switch, everything. Is there a plug I can plug the wiring harness into for the O/D under the dash? Also will a floor shifter for a regular ford 3 speed work with this 3 speed.

The truck had a 3 speed on the column and then was changed to a floor shift with a Hurst shifter. Just wondering if the shifter will blt up to this tranny and what does it take to wire it up.

Accelerator kickdown switch through the firewall:
Red/White stripe to relay
White/Red stripe to coil
White to governor on the backside of the transmission
Blue/Orange stripe to Blue/Orange stripe on solenoid
Relay (except as already noted):
Black to power on ignition switch
Blue to Blue on solenoid
