When did ford f150 stop doing the low in tank fuel pump and high rail fuel pump on dual tanks? I have a 1990 f150 5.8l 4x4 my friend gave me a fuel pump out of a 1989 f150 dual tank 5.0l was wondering if it would work. I heard 1989 was the last time for the high-low pumps.

Yes '89 was the last year for the dual stage pump system so that pump is no good to you, your '90 has high pressure in-tank pumps only.
