4X4 HELP PLZ!?!?!?!?
Ok, so I tried to use low range today and it did not work it is locked in just no low range I have the switch on the dash the low range light was not on either tried forward and backwards both no luck.Can someone give me ideas where to start looking for the problem....thanks in advance

Figured it was something easy...LOL I will try it in the morning and let you know ..I have had the truck 5 yrs and never used it I was going to let my 8 yr old boy drive it today and help me figured in low range at least I could catch him if I needed to...THANKS for the input

think you need to apply the brakes also.
Shortly after I sold my 99 I got a call from the new owner claiming it was broke and he had to drive 50 miles back to town in low range. He was suitably ashamed when I told him he had to have neutral and the brakes on to shift in or out of low.
