Flushing and refilling the 9"

How does one flush out the old lube and install new lube in the 9" rear end?

I would pull out the carrier housing. It's the only way to get all the old lube out.

...which of course means the axleshafts have to be pulled out. If you want to skip that, get a pump to remove most of the old oil.

Where is the drain hole on these rear ends? Mine is so dirty that I can't tell where it is...

How much gear oil does this thing hold?
