I got a recall notice on my 02 F350 SD 7.3 diesel. Speed control system modification recall. Does this have anything to do with the IDM?

It's just a harness and maybe a switch replacement if it's leaking,nothing to do with IDM

Oh ok I think my IDM is out I was hoping I might get Ford to buy me a new one. Its 1200.00 at the dealer here in Southern AZ. Thanks for getting back with me so soon.

Check on ebay for IDM there is a place in south fla that rebuilds them.Think their nameis computer exchange
You probly don't need one.Did you check all the problem places?Lots of info about it in the 7.3 forum
