Front end clunk
I have a 77 f250 ranger 4x4. So far i have put in all new u joints on both front and rear drive shafts, checked and filled both pumpkins. When i drive down the road and "stomp" on it, i get a loud clunking noise that seems like it is coming from the front end. I am going to replace the u joints in both the front wheels but do you have any other thoughts or suggestions?

It depends does it do it when it is only in 4wd? Do you have lock out hubs if so try unlocking them and putting transfer case in 2wd. See if the problem sound goes away. because your front axles shouldn't be spinning. If you have a full time 4wd transfer case and no lock out hubs i would think your front axle ujoints are the problem.
