79 F100 Custom

I just bought a 79 f100 custom for $500. I have a few ideas on what i want to do with it. First, I want to get it road worthy. Then, I will go on with my bigger ideas. As for making 4x4 and making it into a 4spd. Anyone that can help me with anything and have some ideas for me will be helpful. I am new to this site and this is my first truck, that actually will be mine.

One of the first projects to make it roadworthy would be the brakes.
Do not scrimp here, leaving one piece unrestored or in marginal condition can cause you to have an accident.

I'll be posting pics soon. The brakes just need fluid and the tranny needs a little work. If the tranny isn't good i have an extra lying around. But, otherwise most of the work is cosmetic.
