when my door is locked and i try to unlock it i have a hard time turning the key. it will take few times to before i can get the lock to pop up! any ideas
Is it an original key or a copy? I have the same problem in my 250. I was just going to go to the stealership to see if I could get a key from them. Lube up the lock maybe?
Fordpride, they were able to re-key your factory lock? I wasn't sure if that could be done.

yep it's just like any other lock just some pins that form the key. the guy that did it is my wife uncle which is a lock smith he said it's a PITA to take apart
I only got one highly worn out key from the PO. Took it to my locksmith and less than 5 seconds he popped out my lock, looked at it, went inside and cut a new key by hand. Works perfect, I had a bunch of copies made.
I had the same trouble, I took the lock cylinder out and clean it with brake cleaning stuff. Then I used that power grafite and it has worked great ever since.
Graphite powder is a dry lube for locks. Any kind of oil dirt will stick to and isn't good for a lock. There is a metal silver looking clip on your door jam that you pull out to release the lock cylinder.
