I was wondering if i messed up the lower fuel filter housing by putting in a filter that was slightly different. I swapped it out once i realize what i did. Some jerk returned the box with a different one in there and they sold it to me. should have been paying more attention. Its a ford f250 psd 2004.
I just read that they came out with a new lower fuel filter, i put the new one in and thought it was the wrong one. Should i put the other new model back in. is it suppose to do a better job?
just like bismic said, the new one has the gasket up top. I ended up putting the old version back on. wait and see how the new filter work before switching.
