Most new Ford dealers will do X-plan pricing without question. They sell cars every day at x plan prices to the general public. Now D-plan is a different story.
Turn around on a Excursion with 6.0 should be 3-6 weeks.
A-Plan: for Ford Motor Co. employees and qualifying relatives
D-Plan: for Ford Blue-Oval-Certified dealer employees and their qualifying relatives
X-Plan: for employees (no relatives) of Ford suppliers or Ford partner companies
When I get to work tomorrow, I'll check all the incentives available to you in your area (Ford incentives are geographically-based). Post the ZIP code that you live in- I don't need any other information than that. As soon as I have that, I'll let you know all the incentives that are available.
If you qualify for X-plan, keep in mind it can be negotiable. Our dealer, as regular policy, deducts an additional $250 from the X-plan price. You MAY run into a dealer that won't do X-plan on hard-to-get vehicles (6.0, Lightning, SVT, etc...). Just because one does it, doesn't mean the rest will. Each dealer's policy is different. You just have to shop around.
1956 mark II,
They changed the X-plan last year to include family also. Why else would we get info calling it:
X-Plan "Friends @ Family"
I used this plan to get a relative the plan and when I called plan headquarters they assured me this is why it was changed. This relative couldn't use my "a"plan.
