Tire Size And Wheels?

I have a 1999 f250 4x4 with a 6 inch lift and I was wondering what tire/wheel size combination would make sense and what brand of tire? I would like a good mud tire that also lasts awhile on the road.

i think a 35" tire would look good and will not rub. im pretty sure if you go much bigger than that (depending on tread width) you might have some rubbing. bfgoodrich makes a good mud terrain, so does maxxis, and, believe it or not, mastercraft's MT gets pretty good reviews. it all depends on personal preference and how much you are willing to spend.

35s will fit on a stock 99-04 F250 and work just fine.

6" lift would fit some wide 37s or some narrow-ish 38s on aftermarket rims.

Ground hogs are the best. For a radial I would say Interco SSR, they wear well so far.

I really like the Maxxis Bighorns, but, I have not tried them in a large size yet.

Yeah no doubt about the ground hawgs for life. Those things are made of some sort of new aged rubber. I think it called Unwearoutium.
