And I was just down there last Saturday going to Beckley for the awards ceremony for my son's Skills USA competition.
The WV gold medal winner in the Precission Machine Tooling post secondary competition lives at my house.
If I remember right, Woodrow Wilson High School is on Stanaford Road and not far from you at all.
Dave when i was at UTC i won for Collision Repair. I got to goto Kansas for a week for national comps. He cant even imagine the time he will have. Its jam packed full of events but he will get to meet alot of great people. Plus there are alot of giveaways by companies such as Snap-on and Bosch. I had a bag full of tools and whatnot when i left just by walking up to booths and talking to people. Tell him to take lots of pictures and take it all in. Its something he wont ever forget.
Thanks for the compliment. I've only had it a few months now but so far no issues. Low miles for the year at 107k but more importantly, absolutely zero rust anywhere which is amazing for this area
During this summer I plan to do an ignition upgrade, level the front and go back to stock tire size. If money allows, I'm also planning on replacing the grill with a new chrome replacement (factory look) and change the headlights to all clear lenses and maybe some black taillights. I'd like to see a similarly colored truck with the black tails before i do though, as I might want to go with chrome/clear instead. And finally for lighting, I'm going to add LED cab lights eventually.
I also plan on building a custom console because i really do not like the look or function of the factory plastic piece in it now.
Other than that, it will probably remain as is. I plan on working the truck some so lifting and huge tires + regear is out of the question and not affordable to me anyway.
Nationals are in Kansas City again this year.
Last year they were in Nashville when he came in second.
Figures it would be in Kansas the year he won.
So now I have to decied if I am driving to KC in June for the closing ceremony or not.
Kevin wait till you see the overhead and console Centaurus put in mine.
The overhead has a crack on one side, so I need to decied if I am going to try and get a replacement or fix what I have now.

If it would be ok, I'd like to see a few pics for some ideas. I had an F150 Mark III but it was a regular cab so it only had a wooden cup holder/tray with bench seats. It did have an overhead with two map lights and mood lighting though which I may try to replicate but use as a roof mounted CB and possibly a dvd monitor for the rear seats while keeping my factory lighting.
