Having difficulties finding a part
I am restoring a 1984 Ford F-250 4x4. I am trying to get it back to original. I am having difficulty finding a part. I am looking for the diaphram that sits on the Air cleaner. Mine is messed up and does not control the butterfly inside.
I have tried lmctrucks and dennis- carpenter to no avail.
Does anyone have any ideas as to where I could find this?

In any event, I found several vacuum motors for his truck on NAPA's Web site -

Your truck is likely older than most of the counter help at these places.

So true, I had to hunt down my oil cap breather due to lack of knowledge of the parts salesmen at autozone and advance, older guy at Oreillies took care of me and with my work discount I get almost 1/3 off all parts for ford/chevrolet.
