Torqshift VS Regular tranny
I just bought an F350 with a 5.4 gas motor and the window sticker reads "5 speed automatic trans" and the diesels reads "torqshift 5 speed auto trans". What is the difference between these two transmissions?

How come it doesn't say torqshift on the sticker? It just says "5 speed automatic" The diesels say "torqshift 5 speed automatic".

I don't know. I will have to check my original window sticker, but I think it said torqshift.

both trannys are the same..

not sure why they called teh trans by name on the coal burner...
