2011 Warranty
Just talked to Ford about the 6.7 and drivetrain warranties. It will be 3/36 bumper to bumper and 5/60 for diesel and drivetrain. If you want more, you buy it. I ask about the 7/100 offered way back when and being a new diesel would they extend it. Answered no, if you want more you have to buy it. They were very direct about this issue. Guess I'll have to wait till they get all the bugs out before I buy.

The above message about warranties was asked from a Ford dealer, not Ford itself. I e-mailed Ford to see if the dealer had it right. This was their reply:

As part of our ongoing commitment to quality products, Ford Motor Company will repair, replace or adjust covered parts found to be defective in factory-supplied materials or workmanship. Depending on the repair needed, there may be different time and mileage coverage periods. Warranty expiration is based on time or mileage, whichever occurs first.
Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty - 3 years or 36,000 miles for Ford and Mercury vehicles, 4 years or 50,000 miles for Lincoln vehicles.
Powertrain Warranty - (For vehicles 2007 and newer - 5 years or 60,000 miles for Ford and Mercury vehicles, 6 years or 70,000 miles for Lincoln vehicles)
Powerstroke Diesel Engine Coverage - 5 years or 100,000 miles
Corrosion Perforation Warranty - 5 Years
Safety Restraint Warranty - 5 years or 60,000 mile
Emissions Warranty - Coverage varies depending upon vehicle.
