Running light question

Running light question
I have a 1995 f-250 powerstroke and I am going to be putting HID's in it but it has the headlight running lamps that are on whenever the truck is running. I was wondering if anybody knows how to dissconect this because I do not want to under power the HID's nor do i wantt them always on.
Hopefully somebody here know. Thanks for any info or ideas you give me.

I sure hope you make sure those lights are aimed right. They kill my eyes at night when people have heavy loads on. Most idiots around here don't even care if they have their highbeams on. It almost makes me want to be a cop again.

I just read about this on PSN, I think your truck is a canadian truck. they call those lights daytime running lights. Hold on, ill try to find the link over there.

Rich no I haven't figured it out because it's been at the body shop but will be getting it back hopefully tmro. As for the lights iwill make sure and I dnt think I will have too worry about the lights being a problem because the truck came with air lifts load leveler so even with a load on it she will be looking like it doesn't have all that weight in it. I think there might be a fuse for it but it might be connected with something else I will check when I get my truck back.

James thanks that link answered my question I need to get that jumper plug its weird though because they say it's because it's a Canadian truck but mine is from down south I have the car fax for it.

Ya its just like having a cali truck out here in mass. They just spec'd it to go to cali and someone ended up with it here because they HAD to have one right now kinda deal.

well if i didnt grind the snot out of 3d and had my other tune i woulda pulled away a little quicker lol this dang trucks are going to be the death of us and a huge pissing match lmao, were guna be 80 and still bickering whos faster lol

excuses ecuses excuses... that is all that I'm hearing. I'd still be just as fast in that other tune of yours. And you didn't pull a damn inch on me, it was neck an neck and everytime you shifted I got a little closer to being infront of you. If we had started next to eachother I would have actually been out front but you jumped the gun.
