Tire clearance

i got a 2002 f-150 fx4 5.4 triton

Im running 285-75-16 nitto terra grapplers on 10 inch wide wheels and was wondering if i can run a wider tire without any issues.

Some have been able to run 295's with no rubbing and some haven't anything bigger and it starts to rub.

I'm running 305/70-16 with the front torsion bars cranked up a bit and had to trim the valance to stop the rubbing. Didn't have to take much to clear it up. I'm also running 10" wide rims. The 305/70 is the same height basically as a 285/75, but wider.
