MBRP is very good. The 3.5" will fit in there nice and easy. I would personally go with the 4", and put a 3.5" adapter on the end for probably not much more. It takes a slight persuasion to get it there though.
The reason I say that is, if you decide to upgrade the rest of the exhaust you will want to do 4" and that way it will bolt up nice and easy.
Also you will get the most whistle from deleting the cat and muffler. Just be careful if you have emissions. You'll have to at least bolt the cat back up. Easy to do with a proper delete pipe.
My 4" MBRP turbo back kit came with a 3.5" DP. It's 4" from the cat to the tailpipe. If you have a stock turbo and injectors, a 3.5" DP is all you will ever need. The gains from a 4" DP will be negligible.
Only thing to be concerned about is the fact that the piece you linked is aluminized steel. If you live where they salt the roads heavily in the winter, it may not last as long as you'd expect. The stock exhaust on these trucks are SS.
MBRP is a great company to deal with, and their products are top notch.
thank you, yea i have read up that the 3.5 is all you need on these trucks. i live in southern cali so no salt on roads..haha... thanks for the information fellas.
ok i have a question, do people leave the cat on or keep it off? can i just eliminate the cat by putting a straight pipe where it should go?
As stated before, if you have emissions in your state you will have to reinstall before you go test. Mbrp sells a cat delete pipe that makes everything nice and easy.

Nope we have no tests in CA, I can get a cat delete made for alot less than they sell for. I guess its off to the shop friday morning
we do have tests in CA I just had one. The test is nothing to fret over. Buy a delete pipe for the cat. It is much cheaper than buying an entire system.
