AC High idle problems...

AC High idle problems...
So i have searched and searched, cant find anything. I am having an issue where when the compressor kicks on, the idle goes up 500 from 900 to 1400.... it is very annoying... What would be causing this. No codes, nothing...

Acting out IAC maybe, as it's responsible for controlling idle speed & is a common problem part, in idle speed woes..
You might try pulling it & cleaning it's innards with a plastic safe spray cleaner, like CRC MAF spray cleaner & see if you get positive results.
Cleaning the IAC may not last, it didn't for me, but was a good trouble shooting step, so I knew what to replace when the problem returned about 3 months later. I suppose thats why Ford recommends replacement, rather than cleaning.
