Anyone have any experience with the Banks IQ monitor? I'm interested in a monitor instead of installing gauges in my pillar post. It appears that you can custom format the screen layout to your preference of readings. I might be interested in a lite tune at some poit in time also.
I do not know about the IQ. I do have an Edge Insight monitor and love it. I am monitoring 13 parameters at once. Banks tuners have a bad reputation here for there shift on the fly configuration. It's very hard on a otherwise bullet proof transmission

I'm interested in it as well. It's basically a PDA. It has Windows CE installed. Wouldn't it be cool if someone created and add on the the I-Phone to monitor in your truck... LOL
in the near future, a matter is weeks I am told you can just get the IQ with no tuner and be able to monitor/read and clear codes.
But for now you would need to purchase a tuner to go with the IQ.
Hope that helps.
I would hold off on the Banks IQ until you can get it without the tuner option. Banks is severely lacking in tuning with the 6.0 as the 6.0 is a whole lot more touchy about tuning then the others. The 6.4 though is a differently story.

Actually DrewTech(the makers of DashDAQ and DashDAQPC) are making an application for iPhone and iTouch for their software. What all it entails I can't tell you, but they do have that in the works.
I personally would go with the DashDAQ as compared to Banks with regard to the 6.0 with the exception of Bank's inner-cooler, but that's about it. However, if the OP is dead-set on the Banks stuff, wait and get it when it doesn't have the tuning option, it'll be better for your truck in the long run.
