This is the Daytime Running Light (DRL) resistor. Removing underhood fuse #12 (15A) will accomplish the same thing as unplugging the resistor. Yep, I have a Canadian truck, eh.
it is canadian. so if i plug that in ill have daytime running lights? as long as the fuse is in and good?
Yep, that should work. The only drawback is when you do KOEO tests the extra draw having the DRL on runs the batts down. Just remember to remove the fuse when doing KOEO testing.
