whats this?
whats the resistor on the radiaror support in front of the driers side battery for? mine has been unplugged since i bought it, just wondering.

You probably have a Canadian built truck and that is for the daytime running lights.

This is the Daytime Running Light (DRL) resistor. Removing underhood fuse #12 (15A) will accomplish the same thing as unplugging the resistor. Yep, I have a Canadian truck, eh.

Yep, that should work. The only drawback is when you do KOEO tests the extra draw having the DRL on runs the batts down. Just remember to remove the fuse when doing KOEO testing.
