Bed Steps
My truck has now topped the first thousand miles. I drove it in the flood conditions in So. Jersey during the Nor-easter and have had it off road a few times and all is well. Today I saw a guy working on a neighbors house with a new F150 much like mine except he had a 6-1/2' bed and had the bed steps. I thought they would be a big help for this old cripple but checking on the Ford site I see they can only be ordered with the 6-1/2 or 8' bed. I didn't get measurements as it was raining but does anyone know if they could be installed on my short bed. I can Fab and weld if need be. Thanks much

I think you are out of luck with the factory side steps, but there are tons of atermarket support available... try westin, bully, ranch hand, frontier, etc... The factory ones bolt on, but I am not sure about all the aftermarket ones. Good luck!
