Boost question
Ok guys why does my waste gate always open up around 20 or 22 pounds? I want more power. I am not tached out at the point by far and egt's are still good so why is it dumping my boost?

our trucks arent waste gated, there is an exhaust back pressure valve but i dont think that opens at a boost point. that opens by engine temp to assist in warm-up. what is probably happening is your truck is de-fueling at twenty three pounds or so like the factory setting says it should. have you chipped it? if not and you dont want spend the money for a chip go to beans diesel they sell an over boost annihilator that will show twenty three pounds of boost no matter what and your truck will keep fueling. thats all the help i can offer. good luck.
