Quick Header Question

I did not want to hijack the other thread, but was curious, would shorty headers be a good investment without upgrading the heads, or would it be a waste? I have a 351w with an upgraded Y-pipe and single 3" exhaust.

From what i heard many people replace our stock manifolds with the efi series manifolds in the 87-96 styles i believe??

From what i hear this is the best upgrade for the money since you can pull the manifolds fairly cheap from a yard.

That is only for the 300/6. The log manifolds are all pretty much the same for the V-8s no matter which era.

That's only for the 300 6 cylinder. The efi exhaust manifolds on a six are dual outlet.

Oh sorry, so your saying that your can remove the manifolds from a 87-96 and put it on your 6'er or that you take the manifolds offa 6'er 87-96 and put them on your v-8?

Thanks, just trying to get some facts straight.

300 six EFI Exhaust Manifolds on a Pre EFI 300 six, is the upgrade your talking about.

Has nothing to do with V8's.
