priming a fuel injector
i know to prime a carb up all you have to do is put gas or starting fluid in the top of the carb., but i was wondering how do you prime a fuel injector. stupid question from a stupid guy.

priming a fuel injector
No need to prime a fuel injector. It will burp itself of air. It is mechanically actuated by the solenoid made into it. The only injectors that need the air bled out are certain kinds of diesels that have spring loaded injectors. When air gets in this type of system, it just compresses instead of pushing the spring back in the injector.
