Will the Val-air clutches like the one linked work with the stock flywheel, or will I need to use the one that came with the LUK? For that matter....was the stock clutch 13"....I can't remember, been too long since I been in there.
Thanks....that was the reason for the question. I've got my stock flywheel out in the garage, and if I can use it I'll get it resurfaced ahead of time so I'll have it ready.
Scott just resurface your fly wheel and call Kevin at Valair you may beat that price, tell him you are on FTE and I said give him a call. The full ceramic is not great for a farm truck towing a lot because its so jerky when backing but they are good clutches otherwise. I think you will like it. http://valairinc.com/performance/7399-03.html
Thanks Eddie. The nice thing about having two sticks is I can stick it in 4-lo to back the trailers. Hoping that won't be much of an issue..... I mean all the big rigs run ceramic double discs. They gotta be "pretty good" for towing.
I looked at the E-bay listing you posted and wondered why it wasn't rated for towing.
After several months now mine is starting to smooth out . It was jerky for awhile.

Sent the seller a message asking that very question. He said it's more than strong enough.....people just don't like the jerkyness. If that's a word.

Did that a while back. He said the same thing Eddie did...... almost verbatim. Guess I need to give this Kevin guy a call.
